The commitment of defensive lineman Ray Drew has continued Georgia's recruiting momentum with less than a week before signing day. Drew, who is from Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Ga., announced his plan to play for the Bulldogs at a press conference Friday. He had Auburn, Clemson, LSU and Miami (Fla.) as his other finalists.
USA Today: Ray Drew headed to Georgia Not that I think it'll do the first bit of good for Mark Richt -- raw talent has always been in abundance in Athens -- but the whole "Dream Team" thing is coming together nicely with the addition of Drew, among others, and many feel that Pagan is likely UGA-bound as well. We've still got a chance with Crowell, but I'm afraid to say it's seeming almost like an inevitability that he ends up in Athens as well.
