Twitter: Andrew Bone It is looking more and more like 'Bama will indeed get Menzie. Now, this could mean one of two things. First and foremost, it could mean that we look to miss on Keenan Allen. Second, however, means that a current commitment will not sign or is not expected to qualify. In that regard, keep your eye on Deion Belue. He had academic issues when he committed, and while he has since claimed to have gotten his academics in order, you never really know exactly what is going on. Either way, the likely addition of Menzie almost certainly means we're missing on someone somewhere else. The question now is just specifically who. I will add, though, that none of that should take away from the potential commitment of Menzie. The fact that he may end up as a bit of a consolation prize says more about how unbelievable our recruiting has been than it says anything negative about him. Both Scout and Rivals have him as a four-star, and his offer list effectively gives him the pick of just about any SEC school he wants. Given that he plays at a position of need for us, adding him to the mix would be a very nice addition.
