Riding a nice three game win streak, the Alabama basketball team will look to keep it going against a Kansas State squad that has been a disappointment. While a step back from last season’s Big 12 regular season title was expected, this team was still projected to compete for a NCAA Tournament bid. The way the season has gone thus far, the Wildcats will do well to finish above .500 and make any sort of postseason tournament. Furthermore, they were infamously involved in a horrific brawl with Kansas at the final buzzer on Tuesday night.
While the Tide has played well for the most part recently, Wednesday’s tilt in Nashville was an ugly, error-filled affair, a repeat of which must be avoided today. A team sitting squarely on the tournament bubble simply cannot afford a quadrant three loss at this stage of the season.
Tipoff is at 5pm CT and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
Roll Tide.
