The Crimson Tide welcome in yet another ranked foe from Mississippi this Tuesday, as Ben Howland’s 22nd-ranked Bulldogs come to town. The Tide could really use a repeat performance from last week, as this is a critical game for Avery Johnson’s club. With 12 games left to play, the Crimson Tide can’t really afford to add many more losses to the ledger if they hope to be dancing come March. And with six road games left to play, some at places like Auburn and Nashville where fortunes never favor the Tide, Alabama needs to take care of business at home.
The Tide will roll with the same starting five they’ve utilized all of conference play: Kira Lewis, Dazon Ingram, Tevin Mack, Herbert Jones, and Donta Hall. Mississippi State will counter with the same five who’ve started all year for the Bulldogs: Lamar Peters, the Weatherspoons, both Nick and Quinndary, Aric Holman, and Abdul Ado.
The game will tip-off at 7:30 PM CST and will be televised on the SEC Network.
Tomorrow night @AlabamaMBB is giving away bobbleheads to the first 2,000 fans when they take on #22 Mississippi State. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
