NSFW: It’s Meltdown Time! Special Edition: Tennessee hires Josh Heupel

In case you haven’t heard, Tennessee’s new AD Danny White, formerly of UCF, hired a search firm and, after an exhaustive process settled on... Josh Heupel, the head coach at UCF. Heupel is known for his offense, but since he took over for Scott Frost the win total at UCF has regressed in all three of his seasons.

Many Tennessee fans, for some reason, still fashion this a top tier job and were apparently delusional about the impact pending NCAA sanctions might have on courting a new coach. This, of course, makes for delicious meltdown material worthy of a special edition.

The language in this one isn’t too reprehensible, but there is some cussin’. If you can’t handle the occasional f-bomb then point your browser elsewhere.

Danny White is a clown. This is a dead hire. It has zero juice. Neyland will be lucky to ne half full. Large majoriry wont support this hire or program. We are dead.
