BJ Emmons recruitment hit a snag when he did not make the required ACT score in December

Clearly the future, but depth is thin behind Scarbrough and Harris.

Welp. It is official. It had been reported on Jan. 22 that Alabama's incoming beast B.J. Emmons did not receive a qualifying score on the December ACT. As a result, he has been forced to retake the exam on Feb. 6 -- which you will note is three days after NSD 2016.

Alabama has a few other options at recruiting quality depth at the position, and, the most recent player on the radar is Tulsa McClain's Josh Jacobs, where staff were visiting yesterday to take a look-see

Jacobs has burst on to the scene relatively recently. At 5'11, 200 pounds, he has nice size and is coveted by OU, though Burton Burns is on the case as we speak. Jacobs' recent reevaluation (especially his as blazing speed) has him listed as a unanimous four-star now.
