Alabama vs Ole Miss Game Thread

Alabama Crimson Tide (11-6, 2-3 SEC) vs #20 Ole Miss (14-3, 4-1 SEC)

NCAA Basketball: Alabama at Tennessee Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

The Crimson Tide get another golden opportunity to knock off a top-25 team, as the surprise of the year in the SEC, the 20th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels, come to Tuscaloosa. After a gut-wrenching loss in Knoxville on Saturday, Alabama will attempt to grab a win over what appears to be a sure-fire NCAA Tournament-bound Rebels squad.

Despite John Petty’s incredible performance on Saturday, the Tide will likely still roll with the starting five of Kira Lewis, Tevin Mack, Dazon Ingram, Herbert Jones, and Donta Hall - which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Having one of the most explosive scorers in the league come off of the bench can add a nice spark to the rotation. Ole Miss will likely counter with Devontae Shuler, Breein Tyree, Terence Davis, Blake Hinson, and Dominik Olejniczak, although Bruce Stevens may get the start opposite of Olejniczak in the post.

The game will tip-off at 8:00 PM CST and will be televised on ESPNU.
