2020

This weekend, Alabama is hosting two for the Class of 2020 on official visits: CB Ennis Rakestraw (Duncanville, TX) and Bama OL commit Damieon George (Houston, TX).

George’s mom:

As previously predicted, OL Marcus Henderson will not be visiting. [Bama doesn’t have time for sight-seers.]

2021

Perhaps more importantly, a pair of 2021 5-stars will be in town on unofficial visits. Offensive tackle Amarius Mims (Cochran, GA) and WkDE Dylan Brooks (Roanoke, AL) have already Tweeted out their plans and appear to already be bonding. A commitment from one of them this weekend is not likely but possibly in the near future.

GRAD-TRANSFER

North Carolina senior tight end Carl Tucker and family are also in T-town to check out the campus for a possible grad-transfer. They arrived Friday evening.

NICK SABAN ON THE ROAD

The Alabama head man was jet-setting across the south on Friday. He was spotted in middle Georgia to see 2021 high 4-star OT Terrence Ferguson in Peach County, GA.

He also swung by Savannah, TN to see 4-star TE Hudson Wolfe.

Bama has a really good shot at getting both these prospects to sign.

Upon returning to T-town, Saban still had time to drop in on American Christian Academy up the street and visit Head Coach Chris Smelley and 4-star ATH Kamari Lassiter. You may recall, Smelley played some QB for South Carolina before transferring to Alabama to play baseball. He is the brother of former Tide H-back Brad Smelley.
