Alabama at #22 LSU Game Thread

Alabama Crimson Tide (12-7, 4-2 SEC) at #22 LSU Tigers (15-4, 6-0 SEC)

NCAA Basketball: Kansas State at Alabama Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

Something has to give when the Crimson Tide, winners of four straight, head to Baton Rouge to take on the winners of eight in a row, the LSU Tigers. The defending champs of the SEC have yet to lose a game since the calendar flipped to 2020, as Will Wade’s squad has continued to clutch out close victory after another. They’ve won six straight games by four points or less.

Clearly, they are overdue for a loss. Alabama finds itself a 5.5 point underdog at the PMAC tonight, but if there’s anything we’ve learned from the Tide this season, it’s that the line hardly matters to them. Alabama is an incredible 15-4 against the number this season.

With this being the beginning of a six-game stretch that will likely determine the Tide’s season, a victory tonight would be massive. Hell, a win tonight would put Alabama only a game out of first behind these same Tigers as we move into February.

The game will tip at 6:00 PM CST and will be televised on ESPN2.
