Alabama Recruiting News: Isaiah Prince Commits to the Crimson Tide

News broke earlier this morning that 4-star offensive tackle Isaiah Prince had cancelled his official visit to Ohio State. Speculation had it that he was now down to just two schools, Alabama and home state Maryland. Now, that number is one.

The Crimson Tide bolsters the luster of an already brilliant class with another top 100 recruit. Rivals ranks Prince as the fourth best OT in the country. He is the consensus top recruit out of the state of Maryland.

Standing at 6-6/280, he has the long arms you want in a blocker. He has been praised for his footwork and athleticism. When he drives his legs and extends his arms, he can keep defenders off-balance. He may need to work on his technique but his potential is limitless.

Prince participated in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He is a talented young lineman who could develop into a left tackle someday soon.

Prince comes from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C. He joins 4-star OG Richie Petitbon as yet another top athlete to play for Alabama who hails from the area around our nation's capitol (Jonathan Allen, Da'Shawn Hand, Cyrus Jones, the Kouandjio brothers, Leon Brown). He was recruited by Mario Cristobal.

With this announcement, the Tide stands at 26 commitments. Their team ranking goes from number 1 in the nation to number 1.
